Here’s an article about my speech to the Assistance League of Georgetown. What a great organization! Speaking to such a large crowd was a little scary, but they were all so nice, and I had a fabulous time.
This is my wonderful mom who helped me set up my table. Thanks, Mom!
This is my good friend Chris Campillo who helped me at the table and provided lots of moral support. I hope to return the favor real soon. Thanks, Chris!
I need to find a picture of my dad who came even though he was one of the few men there. Thanks, Dad!
Jules’ Postcards to Eva
While “A Mother’s Choice” is a work of fiction, I incorporated several personal details into the story, including the courtship of my great-grandparents Eva and Jules Dahlager. Jules sent Eva handmade postcards, containing hidden love notes. Can you decipher any of the messages? Hint: he was very fond of the the endearment “sweetheart.”
